Salary                         : SCP 24 £27,905 (pro-rata, from 1st April 2019) 5% Employers Pension Contribution

Hours                         : 29.6 hrs. per week

Annual Leave            : 25 days p.a. plus 8 statutory days (pro rata)

                                

 

An exciting opportunity for an innovative and creative Specialist Housing Advice Worker to join Better Leeds Communities.

 

Better Leeds Communities is seeking an experienced Specialist Housing Advice Worker to work holistically, using a person centred empowerment approach, to deliver our Housing Advice Service.

 

The post holder will provide independent, impartial advice to the AQS Casework Standard in Housing, encourage and empower clients to set goals and work towards improved financial and emotional wellbeing outcomes.

 

The post requires the Advisor to work flexibly from multiple locations across the city including partner venues, community locations (including the Burley Lodge Centre) and clients’ homes.

 

The Specialist Housing Advice Worker will constructively contribute to project development.

 

The Specialist Housing Advice Worker will work collaboratively as part of the Better Leeds Communities Specialist Advice Team, to deliver advice through a variety of channels in order to reach vulnerable and excluded clients – our channels include face to face, email, letter, telephone and video calling.

 

This post is subject to a Standard DBS Check.
