We are currently looking to recruit to the following positions:


First Contact Worker (Casual)


We are seeking people available to work on an ad hoc basis during the evenings and/or at weekends – pay will be on an hourly basis at £9.77 per hour.


You will be the first point of contact with all those accessing facilities and services at BLC.

You will meet and greet visitors, conduct detailed assessments (including Common Initial Assessments), make appropriate client appointments/ referrals as required and set up rooms.



Budgeting Skills Support and Engagement Worker


Money Matters is funded by the NatWest Skills and Opportunities Fund to support parents to better manage finances and financial priorities, improve income leves and build financial resilience. The project aims to reduce child poverty and improve physical and mental wellbeing.


The role will include the delivery of budgeting surgeries and budgeting skills workshops, including the coproduction of personal budgest and requires a high level of financial literacy.
