You will have direct responsibility for all aspects of staff and project management of BLC’s Generalist Advice provision.
You will have direct responsibility for all aspects of staff and project management of BLC’s Specialist Advice provision (currently Debt and Housing)
The purpose of this role is to provide support for service users to access or re-engage with appropriate services and groups in both the statutory and voluntary sectors to help them manage their own health and wellbeing. The Link Worker will meet with referred service users, carry out holistic assessments and explore options with people to help them meet their personal goals. In addition, the post-holder will proactively develop and support groups that promote peer support and self-care to become established in the community.
