Our FREE advice is designed to provide help to people in housing need as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our advice service applies whether you are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or simply want advice about a general housing enquiry.

We can help you by providing advice and assistance on all aspects of housing. The team can help you over the phone or in person by appointment – either way please call 0113 2753498 or email advice@betterleeds.org.uk

We normally offer appointments:
Monday to Friday
9am - 4pm

Appointment are held at our Burley Lodge Centre; if however, due to access issues or health, you cannot attend the centre please contact us so we can discuss how we can best help you

We can give advice on a variety of housing issues including:

  • Renting accommodation from Private Landlords and Registered Providers within the Social Rented Sector 
  • Relationship Breakdown - housing options
  • Advice to all tenants in relation to Security of Tenure, Rights and Obligations, Rent, Harassment, Threat of Eviction, Repairs, Legal Procedure for seeking Possession
  • Homelessness / Homeless Prevention - advice on your rights and different housing options. Referral to certain temporary accommodation schemes
